Mona

This poem was written for my then soon-to-be-sister-in-law - Mona, on the eve of her wedding.

M is for Mischievous and as funny as can be
O is for outstanding,Sweet and Carefree
N is for that niceness that shows in her smile
A is for Adorable and without guile

These things together make my sister-in-law
A beautiful person without any flaw
Her life is soon going a whole new way
To her the following things, i have to say

I have not got a chance, to know you better
But I know that you are a smart go-getter
A person who stands out from the crowd
The fact that I know you makes me proud

As you get ready for marriage, do remember
In your mothers heart you are a life member
Your father loves you and always will
And your brother your every wish will fulfill

As you go forth, in your new life
Be an ever smiling and a loving wife
May all your wishes and desires come true
May there never be a time when you feel blue

With these lines I send you my love
All our good-wishes in this poem wove
Knowing you has been my pleasure
You are and always will be our family treasure
